Rainforest Pineapple Earrings

Materials Needed:

Finished Length 1 1/2” Drop

Tools Required

Needle Nose Pliers

Round Nose Pliers

Flat Nose Pliers

Wire Cutters

Instructions on Construction:

When making earrings I do both pieces at the same time and then I double check wire wrap loop sizes against each other to be certain that both earrings will look the same when completed :)

1. To make pineapple dangle: Use the 24g headpin & thread on the olive jade leaf with the fat side at the bottom, add the pineapple crown top & make your wire wrap with loop (same size as the loop on ruby dangle). It is a little challenging to wrap on the inside of the pineapple crown… but take it slowly & you will get there. 

*I found the pineapple top did move a little even when I wrapped as close as I could, so I used a small dab of glue & let this set up… it worked great.

2. You can now thread your pineapple charm onto your beading hoop & you are ready to go.

3. If you prefer another type of ear wire these pineapple charms are easy to attach.

4. Now it’s time to put the earrings on & admire your handiwork! They are fun to wear & the pineapple is a symbol of warmth, welcome, hospitality, peace & friendship... all good things to be sure :)
