Instructions on Construction:

1. Let us start by making turquoise druzy links.

* A handy trick to make consistent size wire wrapped loops is to determine how large you want them to be (the closer to end of tool, the smaller the loop), then take a sharpie and make a line around both the top and bottom prongs of your round nose pliers, this can now be used as a guide.

Take headpin and remove the head, using a wire cutter. Form loop approx. 1” from end of wire and wrap the wire once to stabilize (do not finish wrapping at this time), add H3 (1), TD (1), H3 (1), now make same size loop on this end, and wrap once to stabilize. Now take it in turns wrapping wire one loop (or half loop) at a time, on alternating ends of the link until you have no space left. This is a great way to make sure that you have an even number of loops. Repeat this for the other two turquoise links.

2. Three of the white flower links are made in the same way as above, except that you will join all three together, make sure that you connect the second flower link to the first (after making loop and before wrapping wire) and the third link to the second, in the same manner. This will give you a three-link section.

3. For the fourth white flower I chose a Druzy with a central hole large enough to accommodate one of the 3mm hematite beads. I used this as the focal section at the top of the central dangle. If you have a Druzy with a large enough hole this is an option that you could choose, otherwise make the fourth white section in the same way as the turquoise sections.

* If you are going with this “focal” option omit the 3mm beads from either side of the druzy and just place the one in the middle. It was challenging to get the hole to line up with the wire while placing this bead, so good luck, give it a try!

4. Starting on white flower side: Cut 12” section of beading wire, thread on crimp tube & attach to loop on the circular end of clasp. Use the two-part folded crimp method (using crimper tool) then place crimp cover and close carefully.

*Remember to keep your wires parallel when crimping, this makes for a more secure attachment & it’s also wise to give a test pull on your wire to make sure you have closed down hard enough on the crimp.

5. Thread as follows: H3 (1), H4 (1), H6 (18), H4 (1), Cr (1), thread into loop on one end of the (three part) WDL, back through crimp tube and close crimp in same manner as at the beginning, then add crimp cover.

* Make sure that you leave enough slack in the wire so that the beads have room to sit fluidly, if there is not enough wire the section becomes too rigid and is in danger of breaking.

6. Using flat nose and needle nose pliers add jump ring to connect C (Approx. 4” or 7 links) to the end loop in three druzy section. Add jump ring to end of chain and close with the edges come together cleanly.

7. Cut 7” section of bead wire and crimp to the jump ring, place crimp cover and close carefully. Threading sequence Is: H3 (1), H4 (13), H3 (1), Cr (1) , thread into loop on one end of the first TDL (1) and then back through crimp tube and close crimp in same manner as at the beginning, then add crimp cover.

8. Cut 7” section of bead wire and crimp to the second loop on the TDL just added, add crimp cover then beading sequence is as follows: H3 (1), H4 (12), H3 (1), Cr (1), thread into loop on one end of the second TDL (1) and then back through crimp tube, close crimp and add crimp cover.

9. Cut 10” section of bead wire and crimp to the loop on the last TDL, add crimp cover then beading sequence is as follows: H3 (1), H4 (1), H6 (20), H4 (1), H3 (1), Cr (1) thread into loop on bar end of toggle clasp, close crimp and add cover.

10. Central Dangle: Re-open jump ring at center of bracelet add the focal WDL then close jump ring carefully. Now add jump ring to connect loop on second side of WDL and C (approx. 2” or 3 links). Finally, on second side of C use jump ring to connect the last TDL.

11. You are now ready to try on your necklace & to admire your handiwork.

12. Enjoy!
