Materials Needed:

Approx. 3x4 inches

Tools Required:

Needle Nose Pliers (also known as chain nose)

Wire Cutters

Bead Mat

Instructions on Construction:

1. Cut about 18 inches of wire. String on about 8.5 inches of beads and make sure there is an odd number of beads strung on. The size and shape of the beads do not matter.

***A little less or a little more than 8.5 inches in length is fine as long as there is an odd number of beads - that is the most important part

2. Bring your string of beads to the center so you have equal lengths of wire

3. Find the center bead, thread the left end of the wire through the left hole of the center bead

4. Pull tight, mold the wire if needed

5. Take the right end of the wire and thread it through the right hole of the center bead as shown.

6. Pull tight and adjust if needed

7. String on 2 inches of beads onto the left wire

8. Loop around the wire through the hole and pull tight. Try to keep the final bead as close to the other beads as possible so there are no gaps

9. Repeat on the other side to create a second loop around the last bead. Pull tight.

*** You may want to use a pair of needle nose pliers to assist in pulling the wire through and tight

10. Trim end of wire flush with the bead

11. String on another 2 inches on the remaining wire and loop the wire back through the last bead.

12. Repeat on the other side to create a second loop around the last bead. Pull tight and feel free to use pliers to help pull the wire through. Cut remaining wire flush to the bead.

13. Done with your first bow!

14. To create the garland - repeat all the steps above, however - at step 3, you will thread the wire of the left bow through the right bow loop of the bow you previously completed, then you will thread the wire through the center bead of your new bow.

15. Continue with the rest of the steps to create your second bow. Once the second bow is completed, continue along with your garland until you have reached your desired length.

Done!
