Materials Needed:

Finished Length 15”

Tools Required

Round Nose Pliers

Needle Nose Pliers (also known as chain nose)

Flat Nose Pliers

Cutter

Bead Mat

Instructions on Construction:

1. Start by cutting chain into 16 equal sections of 10 links of chain per section. Each section will measure approx. 1 1/8” each.

2. Cut 2 more sections of chain that have 5 links of chain each, this will be connected to the bottle pendant.

3. Start by selecting the fluorite beads you wish to use, you can use all green or a mixture of colors. Select 16 beads total.

4. Using flat nose and needle nose pliers, take a jump ring and attach to the loop of one side of the bottle pendant and place the 5 link long chain to the jump ring. Repeat on other side of pendant.

5. Cut off 2 inches of gold wire and wire wrap a loop onto the end of the 5 link chain. On the long end of the loop hanging off, string on a fluorite bead.

6. Begin to wire wrap a loop on the other end of the fluorite bead but before wrapping, take one of the chain sections of 10 links and thread the section of chain into the loop just created and wrap wire once. Working alternately on either end wrap a half turn at a time until space is filled. This should give you an equal number of wraps on either side of this connecting link. Trim wires closely and tamp in ends if needed. Repeat on other side of Pendant.

***As we work along, we will be repeating what we just did to the other side of the necklace, working up. This will help to keep your necklace even as well as help you to match or mix the colors of the beads you wish to use.

7. Cut another 2 inches of gold wire and wire wrap a loop onto the end of the 10 link chain section. On the long end of the loop hanging off, string on a fluorite bead.

9. Repeat steps 7 and 8 until you have no more chain / beads (or have reached your desired length if you are making the necklace longer or shorter).

10. Using flat nose and needle nose pliers undo a jump ring and attach to the end of first segment of chain. Close carefully making sure that both sides of jump ring come together and form a closed ring.

*** This necklace is long enough to go over your head and doesn't necessarily need a clasp. If you would like to not use a clasp: take the jump ring you have just put on, open it and connect it to the other end of the opposite chain section. Then form a closed ring.

11. If you are adding a trigger clasp, take another jump ring and attach to the other end of the chain, thread on the clasp and close the ring.

12. You are now ready to try on your new necklace & admire your handiwork!

13. Enjoy!
