Gemstones for Digestion
Gemstones for Digestion
The holidays are finally upon us!! This season is filled with so many amazing experiences – spending time with those we love, looking at holiday lights, shopping, baking cookies, sipping hot chocolate, going to parties, food…food… and more food! There is so much deliciousness going on this time of year, but all of that extra eating and drinking can really take it’s toll on our system. Luckily, there are some fabulous gemstones believed to boost our digestive system and help us keep going so we don’t miss out on anything!

Moonstone is my go-to gemstone for general digestive needs. It aids the digestive system, decreases fluid retention, eliminates toxins, and helps you to absorb nutrients.

Chrysoprase is wonderful for detoxing, helps with liver functioning, soothes the digestive system, and as a bonus it also calms stomach problems that are caused by stress.

Topaz, especially Golden Topaz, aids digestion & stimulates the metabolism. It also helps you to reach your goals, beneficial if you have set goals for your holiday eating.

Sardonyx helps you to take in nutrients and eliminate waste. In addition, it increases self-control, which can come in handy with all those yummy holiday sweets.

Apatite encourages healthy eating, boosts metabolism, and keeps hunger at bay.

In addition to stimulating your energy levels, Yellow Jade also stimulates digestion.

If you forget your Sardonyx and Apatite to stop you from eating too many delicious treats, Amethyst and Hematite both lessen the effects of overeating, overdrinking, and overindulgence.

Citrine stimulates digestion & relieves constipation. It is even believed to reduce cellulite.

Peridot strengthens the metabolism and provides support for the intestinal tract & gallbladder. It can also assist you in releasing old, negative patterns, helping you to break unhealthy holiday norms and create new experiences.

While not technically a gemstone, Amber is the go-to for any sort of pain relief. When you’re waiting for your other digestive gemstones to kick in, Amber can help relieve the pain caused by overeating.
