Description
- Approximate beads per strand: 38-40
- What is it: Palm wood or coconut timber is a hardwood-substitute from coconut palm trees. It is referred to in the Philippines as coconut lumber, or coco lumber, and elsewhere additionally as cocowood. The beads are very smooth and polished to allow them to retain their natural appearance. Wood beads look great with a wide variety of metals, gemstones, shell, and other natural materials. Used often in Mala and traditional jewelry.
Because wood is a natural material, appearances may vary from bead to bead.
