Sunshine, Shell & Butterfly Wings Earrings

Materials Needed:

Tools Required

Needle Nose Pliers

Round Nose Pliers

Flat Nose Pliers 

Wire Cutters

Instructions on Construction:


  • 1. Using 24g headpin make the first part of wire wrap “bubble wand” & then thread top portion of the butterfly wing onto loop just formed, now complete the wire wrap with 2-3 wraps
  • 2. Add one zircon bead, five sections of heishi shell & one more zircon bead.
  • 3. Now make same size wire wrapped loop on the second side, completing the coils so that you have a finished unit that can be attached to the ear wire.
  • 4. The ear wires have an attachment ring below the bead that can be carefully opened to enable you to thread your wire wrapped segment onto. Use two flat nosed pliers to open this ring, (remembering to open to the side, only just as much as needed to allow you to thread your segment) & then carefully close.
  • 5. Repeat for second earring.
  • 6. Now it’s time to put the earrings on & admire your handiwork…. They are so light & fun to wear :)
