- What is it: Seraphinite, also known as clinochlore is a member of the chlorite group. It acquired its name due to its resemblance to feathers due to its chatoyancy (cat eye effect). - History: The name seraphinite comes from the Greek word seraphim, which refers to a celestial being with three pairs of wings. Historically it was used as an amulet to ward off snakebites.
- Metaphysical Properties: Seraphinite is a stone of light energy and vibrations. Seraphinite can infuse each of the chakras with divine energies. Seraphinite can be an uplifting stone emotionally.
