Rainforest & Cherry Drop Earrings

Materials Needed:

Tools Required

Needle Nose Pliers

Round Nose Pliers

Flat Nose Pliers

Wire Cutters

Finished Length 1 1/2” Drop

Instructions on Construction:

When making earrings I do both pieces at the same time and then I double check wire wrap loop sizes against each other to be certain that both earrings will look the same when completed :)

1. Using 24g headpin add one x 6mm tourmaline

2. Using your needle nose & round nose pliers make the first part of wire wrap (the “bubble wand” stage), thread this loop through the hole at the bottom of the cherry drop charm & now complete the wire wrap with 2-3 wraps.

3. Take your next headpin & remove the flat end with your wire cutter.

4. Make a small wire wrap, remembering to connect the loop to the top section of the cherry drop charm before completing you wraps.

5. Add 1 x 4mm tourmaline & then make small wire wrap, this time you can complete the wraps without attaching to the earring findings.

6. The ear wires have an attachment ring below the gold bead that can be carefully opened to let you to thread your wire wrapped segment onto. Use two flat nosed pliers to open this ring (open to the side, only just as much as needed to allow you to thread your segment) & then carefully close.

*You can open your ring with one flat nose & one needle nose plier if you don’t have two flat noses.

7. Now it’s time to put the earrings on & admire your handiwork…. They are so light & fun to wear :)

8. Enjoy!
