The Return of Chandelier Earrings

I can’t be more excited! My very favorite earring shape, the chandelier, as made a triumphant return to fashion! Bold, feminine, sexy — the chandelier has a lot going for it. AND it doesn’t have to be complicated to be gorgeous. There are versions for every skill set, every style. Here are a few I found while playing on the Internet…

Our first pair comes to us from www.worldmarket.com This traditional Native American style is an increasing and decreasing peyote pattern with a fringe. Made of inexpensive size 11 Czech seed beads, this project is inexpensive — but so beautiful!

I found this yummy coral design on www.ktcollection.com. The coral pieces are all faceted Czech firepolish beads, and the findings are all hand-built from wire (18 gauge for the frame, 24 gauge for the wire wrapping. This project may be a little time consuming, but the extra details really make it pop!

Okay, if the coral project was too busy for you, this may be just the design for you — pretty gems swing within a trapeze of fine chain – just two wire wraps per earring! Sarah Cavey posted these pretties on her Etsy site, and I think they are just darling.

For those who like the traditional chandelier dangle but want a smaller, lighter version, here’s a miniature design sure to please from www.ladybugbeads.net . Utilizing TierraCast links, Swarovski crystals, freshwater pearls and size 11 seed beads, this sweet little pair of earrings are easy to both make and wear.
